Walton Ford. Dog Song. Art Edition No. 1–100, ‘Heroes’, 2026 (English)

This Art Edition (No. 1–100) includes the print Heroes (2026), numbered and signed by Walton Ford. Printed by hand on 100% cotton, archival-quality paper using a French-made Le Deuil etching press, it accompanies Dog Song, a volume of loose-leaf folded pages showcasing Ford's original handwritten text and drawings. Presented in a clamshell box and also numbered and signed by Walton Ford, Dog Song is inspired by musicians David Bowie and Iggy Pop and the time they spent as flatmates in Berlin during the punk era. Rock star canines David and Jimmy roam the gritty streets searching for inspiration. From fleshly temptations to run-ins with border guards, their scrappy, surreal misadventures come alive in Ford’s ravishing illustrations, as their animal instincts and creativity become ensnarled in a doggy underworld.
